Department of German Language and Literature
Master’s Degree Program:
MA Program German Philology: Theory and Applications
The MA Program offers specialization in two directions:
1. Greek-German relations in literature, culture and arts
2. Interfaces between linguistics and didactics
Both curricula are designed as two-year programs. During each of the first three semesters, students are required to complete three courses, resulting in a total of nine courses. Attendance is obligatory in all courses. In the final semester, students work on their MA-theses, guided by their supervisors, and attend a special seminar (colloquium) specifically addressing topics related to designing, researching and writing up an MA-thesis.
